The Compounding Year

Three projects, agentic workflows, and building systems that grow

Everybody knows and wants certain things in life. But what they end up doing is asking, "Why is this not happening sooner?" Most of life's pain comes from when compounding stops.

This year is about building a roadmap to slowly let things compound. No shortcuts. No forcing. Just consistent work on the right things, with the right systems in place.

2023-2025 was a year of great learnings. In many ways, life stopped making sense, and I had to pick up the pieces, learn from them, and tie them all together. Now, we're entering a growth phase. Working on things that compound.

The Thesis

I want to work on things that build over time. Projects where the output of year one makes year two easier. Relationships that deepen. Skills that stack. Systems that improve themselves.

The constraint: I'm working alone, but I don't want to be limited by it. Each project will have its own agentic AI workflows. Agents that mimic having different employees and roles, executing alongside me. Not replacing human connection, but amplifying what one person can do.

The Projects

Tech Hiring

Active

Building relationships with fast-growing startups and great engineering talent. The interesting part isn't just the placements, it's running the project itself. Understanding what makes great matches, building trust on both sides, and creating a network that compounds.

This is about quality over volume. No bulk resumes. No spray-and-pray recruiting. Just thoughtful matching between people I'd work with myself.

Goal: 20-30 high-quality engineers placed in great companies

DXB Start

Building

Dubai has a non-existent startup economy. I want to contribute to changing that. The goal is to create one place where people in the startup community can engage, chill, get to know each other, and support one another.

I love early-stage startups. My love for early-stage is about innovation. The energy of building something from nothing, the scrappiness, the belief that this thing might actually work. Dubai needs more of this.

Goal: Build a thriving community hub for Dubai's startup ecosystem

Perk Pilot

Experimental

Reliable information on what credit cards to use and how to maximize rewards. This is a pet peeve. I want to learn and maximize money through credit cards as a starting point.

More importantly, this is my playground for building agentic AI workflows. Learning what works, what doesn't, and how to scale my output using AI agents that act as different team members. The learnings here will inform how I run the other projects.

Goal: Build a personal agentic AI workflow for maximum output

Beyond Work

Work is important but it's not everything. This year is also about exploring more of the world, meeting people from different walks of life, and doing things that make me feel alive.

I've been single for the past three years. Time I spent focusing on myself, figuring out what I want, and building a life I'm proud of. This year, I'm hoping to let serendipity do its thing. To meet someone who isn't scared to come along for the long ride. And vice versa.

Travel

Chiang Mai, Thailand

Just came back after spending a month-and-a-half there. Absolutely love it. The pace, the food, the digital nomad community.

Done

Sri Lanka

Next on the list. Looking forward to exploring the country, the culture, and maybe finding another place that feels like a second home.

Planned

Europe

Possibly on cards for this year. No specific country yet. Just want to spend time exploring the continent.
